ORANGEVILLE - Remember the Friday Night Fish Frys at Shippy's Tavern in McConnell? The Orangeville Music Boosters fundraiser from 4 to 8:30 p.m. March 27 will feature pre-ordered, pre-paid, carry-out only, fish dinners prepared by Karon Shippy, Joe Shippy and Tammy (Shippy) Jennings. The meals include fried cod, cole slaw, Mrs. Mike's chips and a dinner roll for $12.
The order deadline is March 20. Place orders by calling Cindy Wells, days at (815) 789-4613 or evenings at (815) 789-4089 or Theresa Richardson at (608) 214-6217. Orders forms will also be available at the door of all three performances of Orangeville's musical "Into the Woods" March 20-22.
All proceeds will go toward the new sound system in the Terry Miller Memorial Gymnasium in Orangeville.
