MONROE - Tickets for the upcoming Monroe Theatre Guild's performance of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" are on sale now.
The revival version of the Broadway musical will mark the first performance in the newly renovated MTG Theatre at 910 16th Avenue.
Performance dates are Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2, Thursday, April 7, and Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 3 and Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. Performances will be at the new MTG Theatre, 910 16th Avenue, Monroe.
April 3 is Senior Day - all senior (60+) tickets will be at the member rate of $8 each and the show includes an ice cream social sponsored by Culver's of Monroe. April 9 is Kids Day - kids and their families can enjoy an ice cream cake party sponsored by Dairy Queen following the show.
The musical is appropriate for audiences of all ages. It represents "an average day in the life of Charlie Brown," from Valentine's Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, all mixed in with the lives of his friends (both human and non-human) and strung together on the string of a single day
The production is directed by David Sorenson, Madison, with music direction by Cindy Blanc, Juda. Cast members include: Charlie Brown, Gary Hoff, Janesville; Lucy, Adair Bristow, Monroe; Linus, Ruel Mundth, Janesville; Schroeder, Matt Finkenbinder, Monroe; Snoopy, Nicki Dougherty, Janesville; Sally, Amanda Rodriguez, Janesville; The Little Red Headed Girl, Ingrid Kallgren, Albany.

The cast and crew have rehearsed and built the show amidst the dust of the construction in the new MTG Theatre. Following each performance, tours of the new facility will be available.
