Monroe - For the past several years, the Seventh-day Adventist church has sponsored the church youth group Pathfinders to go about the city distributing shopping bags with a card asking for donations to the Green County Pantry. This year, 2,585 pounds of food and other necessities were collected and delivered to the pantry on 17th Avenue.

Piggly Wiggly and Pick 'N Save donated bags and helped make it possible to deliver items to the pantry.
