More than 100 from MHS Class of 1967 to celebrate 50-year reunion

MONROE - The Monroe High School Class of 1967 invites friends and former teachers to stop by the informal kick-off of their 50-year reunion, starting at 5 p.m. Aug. 18 at Flanagan's Shenanigans.

Friends and former teachers are also invited to the Monroe Arts Center at 2 p.m. Aug. 19 to join the class for a presentation on "Monroe Murder" by Tom Mitchell, class of 1965, and Larry Phillips, class of 1966.

More than 100 former students from the Class of 1967 are expected to attend reunion events during the weekend.
