MONTICELLO - The Monticello Middle and High School is holding a library book sale from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, in the Rehmstedt gymnasium. After 20 years the library in the high school/middle school is being culled to make room for newer books.
The seventh grade class has taken up the book sale as part of a class room economics project with the proceeds from the sale going to the middle school fund for future educational events.
Books range from paperbacks for 25 cents to medium hardcover books for 50 cents to large hardcover books for $1. The topics available are endless but include mechanics, westerns, young readers, classic tales, cooking, crafts, science, sci-fi, history, geography, current issues, art, sports of all kinds, health, and so much more. Enter through the circle drive doors and ample parking is available. Come support Monticello schools and future student events....and walk away with some great deals on books.
