MONTICELLO - Whitetails of Wisconsin awarded a $500 scholarship to Monticello native Alyssah Kubly at the WOW Annual Spring Auction previously held in early April at the Three Bears Resort in Warrens.
According to the Wisconsin Cervid Farmers' Foundation, Kubly is one of four winners selected each year. Any applicant must be either a member of Whitetails of Wisconsin or a child/grandchild of a member.
Kubly attended Monticello High School and is currently a junior studying nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is the grandchild of Tom and Carol Kubly, members of Whitetails of Wisconsin since 2012. Besides her studies, Alyssah Kubly works multiple jobs as a certified nursing assistant, on-campus food caterer and bartender. Her community involvement includes basketball and volleyball intramural sports, coaching little league basketball and softball teams and volunteering at the Monroe Clinic Hospital and the 2017 American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Green County.
