MONTICELLO - Yearning for some color in your life after a very long, very white winter? How about a fresh palette of pinks, blues, greens, reds, and yellows to brighten your day?
New Creation Art and the Monticello Public Library are hosting a special Artist-at-Work event with Madison-area artist Laurie Mosher from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, at the library. Mosher will be painting on-site and sharing her watercolor art. As she dabbles, Mosher will discuss painting techniques, answer questions about watercolor, and welcome patrons to try a brushstroke or two.
Mosher's original watercolor paintings, prints, and note cards will be on display and for sale at the Monticello Public Library through the month of April. To see a sampling of her artwork, visit www.newcreationart.blogspot.com.
