Monticello Foundation gives 8 seniors $2,000 scholarships

MONTICELLO - The Monticello Foundation Inc. awarded eight graduates of the Class of 2014 with scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each at the Senior Awards Banquet held Wednesday.

The Monticello Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to Monticello graduates since 1995. To make a donation, send to the organization at P.O. Box 636, Monticello, WI 53570 or visit www.themonticellofoundation.org.

The Foundation's 16th annual Golf Outing will be held June 16 at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club, New Glarus. The event is the major fundraiser held by the Monticello Foundation. The cost is $80 per golfer and includes the 18-hole course fee, golf cart, dinner buffet and prizes. The donation for those wishing to be a hole sponsor is $30 and prize donations are also accepted.
