The Monticello Chamber of Commerce has chosen the Village of Monticello as the Featured Business for October.

The Monticello Village Hall has undergone many changes in the past year, including leadership under the new Village President Leaora Miller. With recent vacancy of the village clerk position, Miller and Sharon Ackerman teamed up to keep Village Hall operating.

In August, they welcomed Ann Goers to the team as the new village clerk/treasurer. Citizens have been volunteering to clean Village Hall weekly and Roger and Kenlyn Walmer donated paint for the space.
