Monte and Jean McLaren, Brodhead, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at home with family on Oct. 8. Monte and Jean (Gadow) were married on Oct. 8, 1960, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beloit.

They have three children, Thomas, Tammy and Terri, all of Brodhead. They also have eight grandchildren, and three great-grandsons.
