MONROE - To assist area farmers in reducing their 2008 fertilizer bills and developing a nutrient management plan, a workshop will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Green County ag building, Monroe. Speakers will include Todd Jenson and Tonya Mulrooney from the Green County Department of Land Conservation. They will be discussing cost sharing opportunities, 2008 Regulations, and the use of restricted area maps for manure hauling.
