MONROE - Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries are hosting a "Big Cheese Luncheon" at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1421 Mansion Drive, Monroe, for all ladies in the stateline area. Cost is $8.
Tasty samples of award winning cheese will be presented by Beth Crave of Crave Brothers/Farmstead Classic Cheese, Waterloo. World Dairy Expo named the Crave Brothers 2008 Dairymen of the Year. Deb Gerard of Florence, formerly of Albany, will speak about her "Journey from Fear to Joy."
