MONROE - Stateline Women's Connection will hold "A Please and Thank You" dinner at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Peppercorn Banquets at the Ludlow Mansion, 1421 Mansion Drive, Monroe. Dinner is $10 inclusive.
The program includes music by "4 His Praise" (Judy Bennett, Marcia Davis, Jeff Ingebritsen and Tim Soddy).
"A Dreamer's Reality" is the topic of Dorothy Smith's talk. Smith, Moline, Ill., was an ordinary girl with a dream of a glamorous, beautiful and perfect life. Come hear how that dream was fulfilled. Smith will also present a feature on the sometimes forgotten art of social graces.
