MONROE - David Vobora, Business Development Coordinator for Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program, will present an interactive presentation on "Business Planning for People who Hate Numbers: 10 Questions for Every Business Owner" at the Monday, May 5, meeting of the Green County Area Entrepreneurs and Inventors Club.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Monroe Clinic hospital's New Glarus Room, 515 22nd Avenue, Monroe.
Designed especially for people who hate all the 'number crunching' usually involved in business planning, these 10 simple questions will lead you through all the major parts of your business strategy - without a calculator.
Vobora joined SWCAP in 2006 and has helped launch more than 20 businesses in Southwestern Wisconsin since that time.
He comes to the position of Business Development Coordinator from a varied background that includes work in the corporate world and as a retail business owner.
He has worked in operational analysis, corporate planning, as a personnel director, operations manager and as a member of a market services group, where he handled delivering advertising, pricing and project management.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
