MONROE - The group planning the proposed Green County Veterans Memorial Park will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Cecil Jones Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2312 in Monroe. They are asking for support in developing the Green County Veterans Memorial Park to honor all veterans in the area who have served our country and those who still are serving to preserve our freedom. People are invited to bring ideas, photos of other sites, and suggestions that will help in the planning of the proposed park at the Pleasant View Park.

The agenda includes the presentation of proposed bylaws for the organization and filing of the Articles of Incorporation.
