Monroe: Thrivent clean-up project is today

MONROE - The Green County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will observe the National Thrivent Join Hands Day Commemoration with a Chapter project on Saturday, May 3.

All Green County Thrivent members, family and their guests are asked to meet at 3 p.m. at Gene and Joyce Rufer's homestead at N3755 Wisconsin 69, (north of Monroe) for hand-outs of garbage bags, safety vests, and Wisconsin 69 Clean-Up duty instructions.

Pick up of highway trash will be on the two mile section of Wisconsin 69, north of Monroe from County FF to just past Cold Springs Road. When finished at approximately 5 p.m., all participants will be treated to Pizza Hut pizza. No preregistration is required. More more information, call the Rev.
