MONROE - The Monroe Theatre Guild will be presenting in April "More Love's Confetti," a celebration of love throughout history.

The show has something for everyone, including the lighthearted first meetings of Adam and Eve (fully clothed); the wild antics of Shakespeare's feisty shrew Kate battling it out with Petruchio; the quirky take on love from the book series "The Dork Diaries"; passionate poems shared by Emily Dickinson; and the intimate writings of Anne Frank as she hides from the Nazis.

There will be four performances at the Monroe Theatre Guild, 910 16th Ave., Monroe. Show times are 7 p.m. April 21, 22 and 23 and 2 p.m. April 24.
