MONROE - Father David Wanish and one of his parishoners, Mary Goonan, will reflect on their experience in El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico, along the international border.
They will speak at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at St.Victor Church in Nilles Hall, Monroe.
Their personal stories and photos will be tied to current immigration issues, in light of Catholic Social Teaching. Father Wanish is a Catholic priest, serving South Wayne, Gratiot, Argyle and Yellowstone Lake. The presentation is sponsored by St Victor's Peace and Justice Committee.
