SAUK CITY - The Diocesan Knowledge Contest was held on Saturday, March 1 at the Sauk Prairie Middle School in Sauk City.

Monroe winners were:

Cailey Calvagna placed third in sixth grade spelling; Logan Leuzinger placed second in sixth grade math; and Sydney Mathiason placed first in eighth grade math.

All first and second place diocesan winners are eligible to go to the state level contest on Saturday, April 5 in Wisconsin Rapids.

They will compete with first and second place winners from the other four diocese in the state.
