MONROE - Monroe Stamp and Postcard Club will meet 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Monroe Public Library, second floor meeting room, 925 16th Ave., Monroe. The library has free parking and is handicapped accessible.
The purpose of the club is to aid each other in the collection of any item that could or did go through the mail. This includes stamps, postcards, letters and other postal history. Discussion will center on Monroe's 150th anniversary and the club's part in this celebration. Supplies will be available to help collectors.
