MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a skateboard clinic from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Honeycreek Park. The Monroe Noon Optimist and MASE will be conducting the clinic at the skate park. The Monroe Noon Optimist Club is sponsoring the skate team.
The Monroe Clinic is donating helmets and pads to the first 20 participants with their form turned in at the Monroe Parks and Recreation office by Monday, June 9. Only the first 20 registered with form filled out and signed will receive the free helmet.
This clinic is for children 7 years old and older. There is no cost to attend the clinic.
