MONROE - The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Cooperative Academic Partnership Program and Monroe High School recently recognized their outstanding 2014 CAPP graduates with the CAPP Distinguished Scholar Award.
The award is given to high school students enrolled in CAPP courses who maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Recipients demonstrate academic excellence through their ability to maintain a high GPA, while pursuing college coursework.
UW-Oshkosh CAPP courses are offered in a high school setting, taught by UW-Oshkosh-approved instructors, offering the same curriculum and rigor of the university environment. CAPP students participate in a 40-year tradition at UW-Oshkosh of offering university-level courses in high schools across the region and uphold a history of excellence that UW-Oshkosh, CAPP and Monroe High School recognize through the CAPP Scholars.
The 2014 Monroe High School CAPP Scholars in Personal Finance are Matthew Hodgson, Mark Jenson, Nicole Witt and Monica Sefcik. The 2014 CAPP Scholars in Spanish are Holly Thomas, Vanessa Studer and Max Yurs.
