MONROE - Demonstrations of dog obedience will be just part of the fun at Green County Humane Society's first ever Pet-A-Thon Sunday, June 1, at SLICE. Demonstrations planned for the event include Music Freestyle by the Badger Kennel Club; dog obedience by JTK Dog Obedience; dog agility and therapy dogs. The Green County Sheriff's K-9 unit will be on hand, as well as a demonstration of horse massage and other vendors. Information about helping GCHS through membership, sponsorship and volunteering will also be available. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SLICE is located at 1632 4th Ave. West, Monroe.
