MONROE - Christine Luchi, franchise owner of SeaMaster Cruises in Monroe, has collected more than 70 pairs of pajamas to be donated to the United Way to distribute to the area's needy children. For some it could be their first pair of new pajamas. Monroe-area residents are invited to donate new pajamas or make a monetary contribution, which will strictly be used to purchase new pajamas. A box to drop off pajamas can be found at the back of St. Victor's Catholic Church. A special thanks goes to St. Victor's Catholic Church, Wal-Mart, Shopko for their help to date. The drive ends September 15.
