NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks announce the addition of Joe Klein to their banking team. Klein brings a wealth of banking and loan experience to his new position as vice president. He previously served as vice president of Woodford State Bank for the past 10 years and prior to t hat was a loan officer for Bank One of Monroe.
Klein is an active member of the Southern Wisconsin Bankers Association where he has served as president and will assume that role again next year.
A Mineral Point native, Klein majored in finance and management while attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Klein enjoys being active in the community and is currently a board member of the Green County YMCA Foundation and was a member of the board of directors of the Green County YMCA for six years. He also served as the treasurer and is currently the vice president of the Monroe Lions Club. He and his wife, Ruth Ann, live in Monroe.
