Monroe Morning Optimists donate to three organizations

MONROE — The Monroe Morning Optimist Club recently made three large donations to Monroe area Organizations. Donations for community projects benefiting youth are made possible through the sale of cheese curds at the Green County Fair and Cheese Days.

A $5,000 donation for the “All Kids Bike” program at Parkside Elementary School was donated to Eric Justiniano, PE instructor at the school. The 5-year program will provide all kindergarten and first grade students with training to ride a bicycle, including safety techniques.

Kathy Hennessy, Executive Director of the Monroe Arts Center, received a donation of $6,500 to help provide live, professional, performing arts experiences for students. 

Matt Skibba of the Monroe Parks and Recreation, received a donation of $2,175 for many events and activities for 2022.
