Monroe: Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be at Monroe H.S. "M" room

MONROE - The annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Kiwanis and the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department is Saturday, March 22, at the Monroe High School "M" room, due to wet grounds at Twining Park.

The Kiwanis Club has donated $700 worth of toys and candy for this year's Easter Egg Hunt.

Swiss Colony has donated Easter Bunny cookie jars for each participant.

Children ages 8 years and under can pick up their bags anytime between noon and 1:30 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures.

The Basket Benefit begins at noon. People will be able to bid on a variety of baskets containing such items as pizza, MHS autographed items, hair care products, cookies for a month, Easter goodies and more. The highest bidder will be announced around 1 p.m.
