RIPON — Jillian Heidenreich of Monroe will perform in Ripon College’s Holiday Concert at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 in the Field House at Willmore Center.
Heidenreich, Ripon College class of 2022, undeclared in her studies, is the child of William and Beth Heidenreich of Monroe.
Choral Union will sing “O Magnum Mysterium” by Robert Shaw, “A Winter Landscape” by Lane Johnson and “Deck the Halls” by James McKelvy.
Chamber Singers will perform “Christmas Cantata” by Daniel Pinkham in three parts: I. Quem vidistis, pastores?; II. O Magnum Mysterium; and III. Gloria in excelsis Deo, and “Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind” by John Rutter.
“Christmas Cantata” features instrumentalists Jessica Jensen and Paul Dietrich on the trumpet, Kurt Dietrich and Dylan Chmura-Moore on the trombone and Maria Kaiser Dietrich on keyboard. Kaiser Dietrich will also play keyboard for “Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind.”
The Orchestra will play Claude Debussy’s “Petite Suite.”
The group will again perform “It’s Christmas!” a medley arranged by Warren Barker featuring Jingle Bells, O Come All Ye Faithful, Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Deck the Halls, Silent Night, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas for the concert’s audience sing-along.
Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble are conducted by Dietrich, professor of music. Chamber Singers and Choral Union are conducted by assistant professor of music John Hughes and Orchestra is conducted by Chmura-Moore, adjunct professor of music.
