MONROE - Brodhead's Girl Scouts of Badger Council Troop #199 will be selling cookies from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Monroe Wal-Mart, 424 W. 8th St., Monroe.
With one 'delicious' purchase, the girls are giving each cookie customer the opportunity to help support scouting in Green County and, at the same time, to provide cookies for a local non profit agency to use in their local programming.
The girls will offer you the chance to buy a box of cookies and to donate your purchase to the United Way of Green County for distribution to area agencies serving families in all Green County communities.
These cookies could help supply treats for the Big Brothers Big Sisters School Mentoring Program, be used as refreshments at a recreational program provided for the developmentally disabled population or be served to donors at a local Red Cross Blood Drive.
