MONROE - Monroe Garden Club will meet at noon Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Twining Park in Monroe. They will have a potluck dinner with coffee, lemonade and table service provided by the club. Cheryl Pitts-Wolff of Hubert Hollow Farms, will speak on garden accents.
Members are to bring an appetizer recipe for the cookbook project. They will also discuss plans for the spaghetti supper to be held Sept. 24 at the Monroe Moose Lodge and for the Cheese Days float.
On July 23, Garden Club members enjoyed a tour of gardens in the Brodhead area and lunch at the Sand Burr.
