Monroe Clinic to hold workshops on insurance enrollment

MONROE - Monroe Clinic has joined with other health care organizations and the Department of Health and Human Services to promote awareness of and facilitate marketplace insurance coverage next week.

Free workshops are available for those interested in learning more or needing assistance signing up for coverage. Participants will meet individually with Monroe Clinic's certified application counselors and are encouraged to bring the following to facilitate their enrollment: Social Security numbers for the household; employer and income information for every member of the household who needs coverage; and policy numbers of current health plan(s) covering members of the household (if applicable).

The scheduled workshop dates at the Monroe Clinic location, 515 22nd Ave., Monroe, are Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. in Founder's Hall (clinic lower level) and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Café Conference Rooms (hospital second floor.)

The scheduled workshop date at the Monroe Clinic-Freeport, 1301 S. Kiwanis Dr., Freeport, is from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.
