MONROE - Representatives from churches throughout Green County will gather for Church Women United's Forum Meeting at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 24, in the library of St. John's United Church of Christ, 1724 14th St., Monroe. Refreshment hostesses will be from Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello.
Following at 1:30 p.m. Amber Russell from Green County Aging and Disability Resource Center will speak about the work of this facility. The business meeting begins with devotions presented by Peggy Wetter from Albany United Methodist Church and will include a planning session for May Friendship Day on May 2, second of the three celebrations Church Women United will present in 2008.
