Monroe: Cabaret Night is Saturday at Turner Hall

MONROE - The Monroe City Band will present their annual Cabaret Night at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in Turner Hall, Monroe. The theme is "An Evening With Television Classics," presenting many television theme songs from classic programs.

Among the featured artists this year are Jane Olson, vocalist; Tim Schneeberger, fiddle player; Bill Rients, vocalist; and a vocal quartet from Monticello. Master of Ceremonies is Ted Scheffer.

The program includes music for listening and dancing from prior years, in addition to the television theme songs of classic programs.

Tickets are $6 each and available from city band members, at Ruf's Confectionery, and at the door the night of the show.

Proceeds will be used to support the city band activities throughout the year. Randy Schneeberger is the band director.
