You are welcome to pick-up your copy of “THE RED BRICK AGENDA” at the Behring Senior Center to get more information. They are found inside the Front Lobby door in a basket or in the Wellness Center just inside the door.
VETERAN’S BRUNCH
For all veterans who are 55 years of age and over. Wednesday, February 8 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. We will be having breakfast casserole, sausage, cinnamon rolls, and beverages. Donation of $3 and call (608) 325-3173 so we know how much food to prepare. Reservations are required.
EXERCISE CLASSES
Please bring a change of shoes to wear in the gym. Classes are as follows:
1. Fitness First is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 to 9:15am.
2. Men’s Exercise is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 to 10:15am.
3. Chair Pilates is on Mondays from 10:45 to 11:30am & Wednesdays 11:45 to 12:30am
4. Balance Yoga is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
5. Dance Aerobics will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. First class is from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. and the second class is from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. Please note there are 2 classes.
6. Yoga is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
7. Power Yoga -Monday Mixer at Noon
8. Fusion is on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.
The Behring Senior Center offers Drop-ins and Punch Cards for all exercise classes.

Dates: Friday, February 3 Cost: $30.00 Times: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (20 minutes)
Melissa Kieler is a Massage Therapist at Healing Notes here in Monroe. You will pay Melissa directly the day of your appointment.
FOOT CARE WITH JULIE
Dates: Tuesdays, February 7, 14. Cost: $42. Pay Julie directly. Times: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are around 30 minutes.

Table Tennis (ping pong)
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m.
Pool (Billiards)
The pool hall is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Pickleball
Beginners: Mondays 2-4 p.m.
Intermediate: Tues & Thurs 2-4 p.m.
CARDS
Card games are at the Senior Center from 12:30- 3:30 p.m. We are playing for fun and there are no prizes. Mondays are Euchre, Tuesdays are Canasta and Horse & Pepper, Thursdays are for 500 and Yass.
Bingo with Aster & Flippo at the Senior Center. You must sign up because there is a limit of only 35 people.
Bingo is Friday, February 10 at 1:30 p.m. Aster will be giving away prizes. Be sure to sign up for this event, remember space is limited, call (608) 325-3173 soon.
Flippo is Friday, February 24 at 1:30 p.m. You have to bring your own deck of cards. Please sign up for this event.

Quilts of Valor
A Quilt of Valor is awarded to a Service Member or Veteran who has been touched by war. Honor, Freedom, and Comfort are stitched into every quilt to honor his/her service and sacrifice. Please stop by the Senior Center front desk to pick up a request form. Call (608) 325-3173 with any questions.

Beginning Tap Dance with Nadine Patchin
Wednesdays: Feb. 1, 8, 15 & Mar 1, 8, 15 Time: 3-4 p.m. Cost: $30.00 pay instructor
Tap Dance is a great way to move your body and learn a new skill. Tap shoes are optional but highly recommended. Each class is independent of the other classes, so no prerequisites are needed.
Valentine String Art
Wednesday, February 1st Time: 1-3 p.m. Cost: $15 per person
Lauren Burkey of the Monroe Art Market will be here to walk you through a Valentine themed string art project. All necessary supplies will be provided.
Faux Stained Glass
Wednesday, February 15th Time: 1-3 p.m. Cost: $25 per person
Lauren Burkey is back from the Monroe Art Market with another great project. You will complete a faux-stained glass artwork. Pattern books will be available. Supplies and materials will be provided.
Tony Rocker is ELVIS
Monday, March 6th Time: 1:30 p.m. Cost: $5 per person
Tony has worked diligently over the years on Elvis mannerisms, hand gestures, vocals and the dance moves. Tony has a unique show that he works extra hard to recreate in detail the sound of Elvis Presley. He performs wearing the exact replicas of the jumpsuits worn by Elvis.
Food for Healthy Aging with Sean Casey

What are the hardest parts of eating healthy? Do you know what foods can help you thrive and promote vitality as you age? Join Sean Casey of Hometown Pharmacy for this workshop.
Jewelry Program

Meet Art Fish, owner of Prairie Jewelers, a long-established jewelry store of over 100 years. Art will talk about selecting new pieces, caring for, and repurposing jewelry. His talk will also include a discussion about February (Amethyst) and March (Aquamarine) birthstones.
TruHome Program
Monday, February 6 Time: 10:30 a.m.
TruHome presents an overview of ADA compliant shower options, and how to apply for grants that may be available for seniors who are at risk of falling in the shower. Coffee and donuts will be served.
Medicare
Wednesdays, February 1, 15, & 22 Time: 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Nitza Pfaff is a knowledgeable Medicare professional coming to the Center to help you with your questions and concerns about Medicare. No appointment is necessary, just stop by.
Tech Time
