MONROE - Monroe area Girl Scout troops are forming now for the new school year. Girls and their parents can attend the "I Can't Wait to Be a Girl Scout Night" sign-up night from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at United Methodist Church, 2227 4th St.
All girls in grades kindergarten through 12 can join. The Girl Scout mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
