MONROE - On Oct. 3, 45 bikers rode in the first Tour de Cheese Big Brothers Big Sisters Bike Ride. Bikers left the Square and stopped at Maple Leaf, Grande, and Chalet cheese factories. Bikers came from Wisconsin and Illinois and rode 15-, 30- or 60-mile routes. Monroe Main Street sponsored the ride as part of its Chili Fest.
