ORANGEVILLE - On Friday, February 13, members of Stockton's Plum River Playhouse will open the Mighty Richland Players Dinner Theater's eighth season by presenting "A Country Valentine." Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Mighty Richland Players Dinner Theater, 203 West High Street, Orangeville.
"A Country Valentine" is a comedic melodrama in five short acts. Between acts the Plum River Singers will perform well-known love songs by Rogers and Hammerstein, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Beatles, Elvis Presley and other popular artists. The original script and classic songs combine to provide a fun and entertaining evening.
The show will be accompanied by dessert, the patron's choice of a triple layer chocolate cake with ice cream or peach cobbler with ice cream. Coffee and cranberry cider will be offered as a complementary beverage. Cost for tickets is $20. Seating is limited.
