Middle school conferences set

ALBANY - The Middle School will hold an open house from 4 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, April 5. The public is welcome to visit all the middle school classrooms.

The scheduled is: From 4 to 6 p.m., view middle school projects in classrooms; 6 to 7 p.m., Middle School third quarter awards; 7 p.m., Freshmen orientation for 8th grade students and parents in the study hall room; 5th grade orientation for 4th grade students and parents in Room 210.

Classroom demos and displays: Rooms 203 and 213, Science experiment projects presented by 7th and 8th grade science students; Spanish verb drawings in the Spanish room; Room 211, a variety of projects studying different cultures and periods presented by the 5th, 6th and 10th grade social studies students; Hallway, a tour of the solar system created by the 6th grade science students; Latin America Projects by the 7th grade students, room 208, Solar system projects by 5th grade science students; Poetry projects created by 5th and 6th grade students; Character/event posters, War of 1812 projects, play the "Amazing Americans" game created by the 8th grade history students; Hallway, 5 grade flying fish art display.

You may even get to hear some of our talented music students performing throughout the building.

High school teachers will be available for conferences from 4 to 7 p.m.
