MHS One Act Wins Big At State Festival

On Nov. 17, the Monroe High School One Act cast and crew competed in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech and Debate Arts Association’s State Festival in Green Bay.

On Nov. 17, the Monroe High School One Act cast and crew competed in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech and Debate Arts Association’s State Festival in Green Bay. They received the following awards for their play “Appropriate Audience Behavior”: Critic’s Choice Gold, Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Technical Theatre, Outstanding Direction (Jenny Bochar). Three students also received individual Outstanding Acting Awards — Megan Deprez, Lian Truong, and Sam Wolf. This is the third year MHS has competed in the WISDAA One Act Competition and their third year receiving Critic’s Choice Gold, Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Technical Theatre, Outstanding Direction, and individual acting awards. Congratulations to these talented performers.
