MONROE — The Monroe High School Junior Optimists will be hosting Prom for Pennies from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19 at Monroe High School, 1600 26th St.

This event allows area high schoolers to purchase gently used prom dresses at discounted prices.

Those who have a gently used formal to donate can drop off donations at the high school office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
