DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Grants and Career Development Committee will be accepting applications for Healthcare Scholarships.
Applications for the healthcare scholarships will be available April 1 on the hospital Web site. Qualifications include: must be a resident of Lafayette County, pursuing a degree in a health care related field, have completed one year post-secondary education, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have not received this award within the last 12 months.
The deadline for the applications is Friday April 30. Submit applications at www.memorialhospitaloflafayettecounty.org. For more information, call (608) 776-5731.
There will be five $1,000 scholarships awarded this year pending the number of applications and qualifications of the candidates.
The final awards will be determined by the MHF Grants and Career Development Committee.
