DARLINGTON - The Memorial Healthcare Foundation Grants and Career Development Committee will soon be accepting applications for health care scholarships.
For those pursuing a career in health care, applications for the scholarships will be available Saturday on the hospital website. To qualify, an applicant must be a resident of Lafayette County, be pursuing a degree in a field related to health care, have completed one year of post-secondary education, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have not received this award within the last 12 months.
There will be five $1,000 scholarships awarded this year, pending the number of applications and qualifications of the candidates. The final awards will be determined by the MHF Grants and Career Development Committee.
The deadline for the applications is April 30. Applications may be submitted at www.memorialhospitaloflafayettecounty.org. For more information, call 608-776-5731.
