WISCONSIN DELLS - Kylie Merchant, the daughter of Kristy and Michael Schindler, is a state finalist for the National American Miss Wisconsin Pageant and will compete in the pageant on Tuesday, Aug. 23 and Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Chula Vista Resort.
The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 through 18, competing in five different age divisions. Merchant, 10, of Monroe, will participate in the pre-teen age division.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California, where she will receive a complimentary Tour of Hollywood and two V.I.P. tickets to Disneyland.
