MONROE — One of the many benefits of being a 4-H member is older youth have the opportunity to apply for college scholarships and awards. This year’s winners were an exceptional group of young people who have worked hard during their 4-H careers and have very bright futures ahead of them.

Winners of the Green County 4-H Adult Leaders Scholarship ($500) were Brenna Meier (Dayton Dairylanders), Abigail Marty (New Glarus), and Kaleigh Dallman (Jolly Mixers).

The Green County 4-H Junior Leaders Scholarship requires that recipients be members of the 4-H Junior Leaders organization.

Winners of the Green County 4-H Junior Leaders Scholarship ($500) were Auburn Von Kaenel (Next Generation), Averey Marean (Juda Jolly Juniors), and Margaret Paul (Next Generation).

The Cindi Miller Memorial Scholarship, named in memory of Cindi Miller who was a long time 4-H leader and supporter, places greater emphasis on community service by the applicant. Winners of the Cindi Miller Memorial Scholarship ($1000) were Kelli Polnow (Cheese Country Clovers) and Linnea Tabaka (Young Americans).

The 4-H Key Award is one of the highest awards given to a 4-H member during his or her career. It recognizes outstanding participation, leadership and growth. A member can only win the Key Award once.

Winners of the 4-H Key Award this year were Kelli Polnow (Cheese Country Clovers), Averey Marean (Juda Jolly Juniors), Kaleigh Dallman (Jolly Mixers), and Margaret Paul (Next Generation).

Green County 4-H wishes to congratulate all of the scholarship and award winners this year and looks forward to watching them grow as adults.
