MONROE - The Monroe Public Library will hold a meal-planning class at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the library, 925 16th Ave.

Danielle Gay, Operation $40K, will teach "Meal Planning 101." She will teach participants how to save time and money by simple meal planning and discuss how to get creative with leftovers and work the grocery store meat cycles to your advantage. This class is one hour long and has a mini cookbook to take home.
