Master gardeners plan meeting

MONROE — The topic of hydrangeas will be among other topics at the Green County Master Gardeners Association meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Green County Justice Center, multi-purpose room 2841 6th St., Monroe.

Linda Barcz, from the Bruce Company of Wisconsin, Inc., will present. Included in her presentation will be photos showing perennial and annual combinations. She will also touch on impatiens and other flowers. A question and answer segment will be held. 

Barcz holds a bachelor of science degree in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a certified arborist and a member of the International Society of Arboriculture. 

This is the last meeting of the season for the Green County Master Gardeners Association this year. Anyone interested in horticulture and gardening can join the association. Members do not have to be master gardeners.
