MADISON - Wisconsin county beef promotion groups can partner with the Wisconsin Beef Council to increase beef consumption and consumer awareness of beef's positive health aspects. County beef promotion groups are eligible to receive up to $250 from the WBC to extend promotional messages on the local level.
Any organization receiving WBC funding will be required to supply matching funds; complete a minimum of three promotion activities within their county by Sept. 1 and report activities and consumer reach back to the WBC.
Applications and information can be obtained from the Wisconsin Beef Council by e-mailing wbc@beeftips.com; by calling (800) 728-BEEF or by writing: Wisconsin Beef Council, 632 Grand Canyon Drive, Madison, WI 53719. Applications are due to the WBC office by April 1.
