MADISON - The University of Wisconsin Colleges received their annual contribution from AnchorBank this December to benefit their student scholarship fund. Through AnchorBank's charitable contribution program, Anchoring Communities Together (ACT), the bank contributes more than $10,000 to 23 colleges statewide every year.
Since its inception in spring of 2006, the ACT program has focused its initiative on subsidizing affordable housing, fostering financial literacy, bolstering economic development and nourishing diverse arts and culture. Scholarship funds from AnchorBank provide much needed assistance to students in universities throughout Wisconsin and enhances their educational experience.
