Monroe Arts Center will feature “Piano After Dark” Jan. 26. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Monroe Arts Center at 608-325-5700, or in person at the box office located at 1315 11th Street, or online at www.monroeartscenter. The Monroe Arts Center will also have a presentation on the rebuild of their Yamaha grand piano.

MONROE — Monroe Arts Center will present “Piano After Dark” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Monroe Arts Center, 1315 11th St., Monroe. 

Dan Blum will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The group will perform pop, jazz, classical and original compositions. Every song will come alive and engage your heart and soul as played on MAC’s newly rebuilt Yamaha grand piano.  

Music by area pianists Paul Bodell, Steve Scheppele, Natasha Patterson, Nina Kanyeva and Robert Eversman will be performed. Entertaining anecdotes about the music and composers will enhance the experience. The performance will also include a multimedia presentation of the Yamaha piano rebuild by pianist and piano technician Paul Bodell. 

Light hor d’oeuvres and a drink are included with each ticket. Refreshments will be served from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and again at intermission.
