MONROE - The "An Inside View" luncheon, sponsored by Stateline Women's Connection and Stonecroft Ministries, is set for 12:30 p.m. Sept. 17 in Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.

The event features "A Passion for Purple." Joann Hawthorn will share information on pancreatic cancer awareness.
Speaker Charmel Jacobs, Rockton, Ill., will give a presentation on "Bifocals and ViewMasters," a conversation recognizing and celebrating each person's unique personality.
Jacobs is a former teacher, 16-year veteran radio show co-host, a mother of five and grandmother of 10.
